"But Jesus looked at them and said to them, 'With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.'"Matthew 19:26 · NKJV
The strength base is built. Now the weight room shrinks to powerful contractions in tiny doses — every set ≥0.50 m/s, max intent — and the freed-up recovery goes to the track. The PRs come from sprinting, primed by iron. Test the 40 every 4th week.

Everything here is standard gym or park equipment. You do not need a velocity device — the calculator below predicts your working weights from your squat max.
Enter your estimated squat max and bodyweight — we predict the working weight for every exercise and its target bar speed. Have an OVR/velocity device? Chase the m/s number and let the weight float.
Pick your week in the cycle, anchor with one heavy rep, tap the day. Every session — iron and track — comes out prescribed for exactly where you are.
Jumping now leads every lift and follows every squat. Loaded DB jumps run a 3-week wave (25 → 30 → 35 lb), tracked unloaded verticals chase the raw PR, and the stiffness doses keep the spring. Frequent + intense, never voluminous.
Pick the load, log today's best. It keeps your record — for Athlete 1.
What makes minimal-dose work — and what quietly breaks it.
Any box-squat rep under 0.50 mean ends the set. Under on rep one? Strip weight. Every rep a bullet or no rep at all.
On the track, the moment a run is slower than the last, you're done. 3–5 runs is a ceiling, not a quota.
Tue works before Wed only because Tue is short and resisted. If Wednesday feels flat, push max speed to Thursday. Never stack two flat days.
2×2 twice weekly holds strength a long time. If your .50 load drops two weeks straight, add one set on Monday only. Don't drift back to volume.
3–4 min between resisted runs, 4–6+ min between flys, 3+ min between heavy doubles. Rushed rest turns speed work into conditioning.
No extra conditioning, uphill grinds, or bonus volume. Soreness costs tenths. Easy vest walks and pool are the only "extra" allowed.
Hip-flexor and hip-thrust holds: 100% effort for ~5s, 2–3 per leg, done. The contraction is the stimulus, not the volume.
Timed 10-yd splits weekly, full 40 only on test week. Mean velocity in the gym, real timing on the track.
Same box + pad, same shoes (or none), narrow stance. Run the cycle 2 months before judging direction.
Now that sprinting is the main work, the code carries more weight than ever. Every run inside it.
Recovery is the program now. Every. Single. Day.
1st-person sprint rehearsal at 7.5 Hz per leg with the 900 BPM audio. 🎧
9–10h nightly + 1-hour nap. Sprint adaptations bank in sleep. 🔋
Drink through the day, not just at practice. Even mild dehydration blunts power output and slows sprint times. 🥤
Lean protein + veggies. Underfueling in a peak phase erases the taper. 🥦
